Dear partners, colleagues, and friends,

The Center for Electrochemical Surface Technology (CEST) is looking forward to hosting the third edition of the upcoming Conference of Applied Surface Technology (COAST) in spring 2024. The conference will be held on May 6/7, 2024 in Vienna at the Palais Niederösterreich. A detailed program and list of invited speakers will be announced in fall 2023. Save the 6th and 7th of May 2024 to ensure your participation – we are looking forward to seeing you!

A preliminary program will be announced in late 2023.

Location & Travel Informations

The conference venue is located in the heart of Vienna at the Palais Niederösterreich (Herrengasse 13, 1st district). The easiest way to reach the location is to take the public transport (U3, orange line) to Herrengasse. 

Vienna itself is easily reachable for all international guests via the international airport Vienna (VIE). The airport is connected to Vienna via the City Airport Train (CAT) and several public railway connections (train S7 – cheaper than CAT). 

Beside this, a large number of overnight connections to Vienna is available under https://www.nightjet.com/en/#/home.
