The Center for Electrochemical Surface Technology (CEST) is looking forward to hosting the third edition of the upcoming Conference of Applied Surface Technology (COAST) in spring 2024. The conference will be held on May 6/7, 2024 in Vienna at the Palais Niederösterreich. A detailed program and list of invited speakers can be found below – we are looking forward to seeing you there!

Location & Travel Infromations
The conference venue is located in the heart of Vienna at the Palais Niederösterreich (Herrengasse 13, 1st district). The easiest way to reach the location is to take the public transport (U3, orange line) to Herrengasse.
Vienna itself is easily reachable for all international guests via the international airport Vienna (VIE). The airport is connected to Vienna via the City Airport Train (CAT) and several public railway connections (train S7 – cheaper than CAT).
Beside this, a large number of overnight connections to Vienna is available under https://www.nightjet.com/en/#/home.
Accommodation
We are recommending the Motel One Wien Staatsoper for accomodation, since it can be easily reached via a short walk (about 1 km) through the historic center of Vienna.

Registration
The conference fee is € 180 (early bird – registration received before March 01, 2024) and € 240 (from March 01,2024). You will receive the invoice for the conference fee after registration.
